Does not taking medicine for a fever really help you to heal quicker?
That's the latest theory of my significant other (MSO)...guess we'll be seeing MSO still laying on the bed wishing he had taken something last night.

My MSO and I are split on this issue as well. I pop pills at the first sign of anything. My wife resists pills to toughen up her immune system.
Of course, your MSO could always turn to steroids ala the Tabasco Man to see if it helps.
I think you should make him some chicken soup and give him some TLC. You know like massaging his feet, wiping his forehead with a damp cloth.:)
I think for low grade fever it's okay to not treat it, since it is the body's way of fighting the germs. But for high fevers, I think you gotta get the temp down fast.
Yeah, I pop pills as soon as I feel it. I know it ain't going away unless I do. That's what drugs are for! To abuse!
