Yesterday, MSO mentioned to me that he saw a child not restrained in a moving car. And I've seen too many times the same thing. So my bitch for today is about child restraints not being used on the road. That just gets your blood pressure rising when you see kids not buckled in at all or are incorrectly restrained. The child passenger restraint law here requires children under 4 years of age to be restrained in a federally approved child safety seat, and children 4 years and older are required to use a safety belt. Some information that even I was unaware of is provided at these sites:

If anyone knows of additional child safety seat information specifically for our state, please share.

Did you notice this before your child or only after? When our kids were younger, I used to notice other children were properly buckled in or not. Also, when my wife was pregnant, I began to notice how many other women were pregnant. Now I do not take notice anymore.
I actually noticed this before. Still pissed me off as much before too. Well, you couldn't miss all the pregnant women that I saw at Baby Emporium. Talk about many other pregnant women. Made me wish I was still pregnant...NOT!
