What You Drive Is Where You Park

Speaking of baseball, how would you like to be able to pull into a special parking lot and be in your seats in a matter of less than ten minutes? Well, that's if we had MLB here. According to this article I found in Lexus Magazine, Lexus owners living in Atlanta can do just that.

Unless they're wearing an Atlanta Braves uniform, no one will find a better parking spot at the team's Turner Field...Lexus drivers can take advantage of the special Lexus Lot [located close to the stadium], set up exclusively for drivers of any Lexus vehicle.
Lexus even has an agreement with the Braves for Turner Field's Lexus Level, featuring luxury suites and an air-conditioned concourse.

Owning a Lexus here gets you nothin' but a big hole in your pocket...Unless you're a Data Processing - Level III.

Happy Valentine's Day (Or Is It?)

Don't know what it is, but after having a child, occasions such as Valentine's Day don't seem as important. Of course I still love MSO but it just feels different. Made a comment yesterday to a co-worker that buying a gift for this day (or even a card...nah, I made a card) seems ridiculous when you think about what parents have to pay for their children's education. We're still a wee bit away from those days but you gotta start thinking about it already, you know?
And making a card is another thing...Is it really "cheap" for someone to make a card rather than buy one although a card may cost $1.50 as that same co-worker mentioned? I think not. Making a card takes time and effort. You gotta plan the design out, think what colors to use, and what you're going to write instead of using Mr. Hallmark's words of love.
Well, enjoy your Valentine's Day! =S

Attention Deficit

"You're not the boss of me!" Amazing how intuitive kids are at such a young age. Discipline of a child is believed to be based on whether the child is paying attention to his/her parents.

...attention deficit was caused by well-meaning parents who think good parents pay as much attention as they can to their kids; that the more attention one pays one's child, the better a parent one is.

And to think people believe children don't pay attention to their
parents because of Playstations, Game Boys, Xbox-es, TV, computers, and oh yeah, iPods...=)

Fever Pitch

Does not taking medicine for a fever really help you to heal quicker?
That's the latest theory of my significant other (MSO)...guess we'll be seeing MSO still laying on the bed wishing he had taken something last night.
