'Reply to All'

Don't you sometimes just hate this f#*$@! button?! An e-mail was sent out two months ago to complete a mandatory online training by the end of August. So of course you got laggers who won't start the training until it gets close to the deadline. Understandable. But when you go and 'Reply to All' to the original e-mail instead of replying to only the sender to inform the manager that you are having a problem, now that's just plain bad e-mail behavior. Further, there were about five more people who utilized the oh so practical 'Reply to All' button to tell everybody(!) that they had problems completing the training due to technical problems. The kicker is even after that manager sent out an e-mail to tell everyone not to "REPLY TO ALL" when sending email about the above subject. The e-mail string is being sent to all personnel, there were about four people who sent out an e-mail saying they don't see their e-mail address on the To or CC line, and wish to be unsubsribed. Yeah, unsubsribe me from all the trash that I'm getting!

I must have missed it, but I have been guilty of the Reply to All in the past. Don't know what happened. Maybe the Reply and Reply All buttons are too close together or I wanted to address several of the addressees and forgot to remove the "all" address. But oh well.

I kinda like seeing who uses the Reply All feature. Gives me an early idea of what the person is like. You also learn something from what they say and how they say it.

For example, I now know that the Tabasco Man works with a hard-working, self sacrificing, solid American citizen concerned with reducing power consumption to save tax payer money.

Actually, I think I remember one of your Reply to All messages.
Yeah, it is kinda interesting to see what people say but this incident was a bit too much.
And we all know too well what RT does during his task-filled days.
Oops, I spelled unsubscribe and unsubscribed wrong.

I think that was the only one. I swear I hit the reply button, not the reply all, but bygones. I wished someone happy birthday in the email so it worked out in the end.

Weird, I got to see what email string you're talking about and I never did receive it although I should have.

I think I need to email everyone on the list(s) that I did not receive the original email. ;)
